Hi,
I loved your article and thought it was
really good. I was subjected
to identity theft about a month ago but
because I'm computer savvy I was
able to jump on and secure my credit immediately.
What I found astonishing is that 98% of
calls coming into the police
were all identity theft and they had no
answers. They had no knowledge
of how to stop, prevent or anything else.
With record numbers of people being
subjected to this crime you would
think the Police department would have a knowledgeable
person tell you
to get online, write to credit company and
fax over a authorization
form. They immediately jump in and freeze
your account and notify the
other credit companies. With in a 30 minute
time frame you can protect
yourself.
Please write another article and tell people
what to do if there is a
need. To keep the "how to" list
and share with their family and
friends.
Thanks again,
Mugzzi
Hi Mugzzi,
